🕊️ In Loving Memory of Dr. Zaka-ur-Rehman Shaheed

"He healed with compassion.
He served with faith.
He lived for others — and died a martyr."

On July 27, 2024, Ahamdi Dr. Zaka-ur-Rehman — a Dentist — was martyred because of his faith in his clinic on GT Road, Ali Chak, near Lalamusa, while serving patients with love and dedication.

"The Silent Tragedy at Zaka Dental Clinic"

On the morning of 27, July 2024, at approximately 9:30 AM, Dr. Zaka ur Rehman Shaheed was carrying out his duties at his clinic as per routine. At that time, two unknown masked assailants arrived on a motorcycle. One assailant entered the clinic premises while the other remained stationed outside.

Without any provocation, the assailant inside the clinic opened fire on Dr. Zaka ur Rehman. He sustained three gunshot wounds: one in the chest near the heart, one in the abdomen, and another in the hand. Immediately after the attack, both perpetrators fled the scene.

The sound of gunfire alerted nearby neighbors who promptly came to the clinic and found Dr. Sahib gravely wounded. Although he attempted to communicate, severe internal bleeding led to his sudden and tragic demise at the scene.

A Miracle at the Time of the Funeral

When the funeral of Shaheed Dr. Zaka-ur-Rehman was scheduled, the weather conditions were extremely severe. Heavy rainfall had engulfed the surrounding villages and towns, and many well-wishers suggested delaying the funeral in hopes of clearer weather.

However, Ameer Malik Luqman Sahib and the Murabbi Kamran Rafiq Sahib of Lalamusa firmly stated:

"The time set is the right time. Allah and Hazoor's prayers are with us. InshaAllah, everything will be fine."

And indeed, a miracle unfolded.

While torrential rain continued to pour all around, the exact location of the funeral remained dry.
People traveling from distant places were delayed due to road flooding. But when they finally arrived, they were astonished to witness with their own eyes:

It was raining everywhere—except at the funeral site.

This divine sign was a source of deep comfort and spiritual affirmation for those who loved him and understood the meaning behind such moments. It reminded everyone of Allah’s mercy and the honor bestowed upon His beloved servants.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

Though it has been some time, the pain of such a loss remains. May Allah (SWT) continue to grant him peace, forgive his sins, and raise his rank in Jannat al-Firdaus. May He also bless the family with continued strength, patience (sabr), and healing.

Keeping you all in my prayers.

I wish I had a chance to get to know my Khalu a little more because I've always heard his name with respect. I remember this one very fond memory of his. One time all of us cousin wanted to go out and they all told me to ask him instead of them because he wouldn't say no to me. I did exactly that and he listened to me with a smile. He knew what was going on but he kept a smile on his face and very nicely said " Acha beta, meh apko mana kaise ker sakta houn. Ap sub dehaan seh jai." He knew that would make me happy and he made sure I had no problems when I was over with my family.
I will always cherish that memory with me forever.

Not only was he a relative of our family but a very good friend of my dad as well. I would often hear them talk on the phone very so often as if two brother's were talking. They MaShaaAllah had a very good relationship that grew of the last few years.

He is dearly missed by all of us. May Allah swt grant Dr.Zaka-ur-Rehman (Shaheed) the highest rank in Jannatul Firdaus and keep his akhira at ease. Ameen.

I have many memories with my Chachu (Dr. Zaka-ur-Rehman Shaheed), but one is very special. Many times, we were sitting together in his clinic, and if any patient came, he would take very little money.

I used to say, “Chachu, you take too little money. Please take a bit more.”
He would smile and always say:

“Alhamdulillah (All praise to Allah), Allah has given me so much. I am not here to make money. I am here only to serve people. If I wanted to earn money, there are many other places I could go. My parents served this area, and now I am also here to serve.”

His words are still in my heart, and they show how kind, humble, and caring he was.

A part of my heart left with him. Life will never be the same again. His absence is felt everywhere, in every moment. Whenever there was a problem, my father somehow knew without being told and would say he had prayed specially for us during Tahajjud❤‍🩹. He always called me “Asma beta” with so much love.
He had kindness for everyone, but for his children, he gave every moment and every bit of his energy❣️.
A day before he left us, he spoke with worry about all of us, his family. He gave his whole life to serve us. Now, I miss his caring calls more than anything.
Even now, it’s hard to believe Abu g is no longer here. It still feels like he will call and ask why I’m not answering. I want to call him, but I know he won’t pick up.💔
I saw his kindness with my own eyes helping others without expecting anything in return, even buying fruits or vegetables just to support a shopkeeper, even when we had plenty at home.
Even if words run out, they will never be enough to describe everything about my beloved Abu, Dr. Zaka ur Rehman (Shaheed). ❤️
No words can truly express the pain we feel💔
We smile in front of others. We're trying to live life, to fulfill our responsibilities and hold on to the relationships around us. But sometimes, it becomes incredibly hard. Losing Abu g changed everything. Nothing feels the same anymore.💔
